Our 47th attachment student Nation Lunga completed his 10 month stint with Dambari at the end of June by presenting the preliminary results of his research project to DWT staff and the Chairman of Wildlife Environment Zimbabwe (Matabeleland branch). Nation’s project looked at the status of Bushbuck in the Whovi section of the Matopos National Park using road and walked transect methods. The project was funded by WEZ , Matobo Conservation Society and Marwell Wildlife.
Happily, the Bushbuck seem to be doing well.
